Create a Form Workflow designstudio pro icon

In DesignStudio Pro, you can use either of the following methods to create a form:

  • Method 1: Create a form from an existing published board (recommended). When you use a published board, and select the Input view, all the fields from the board are automatically listed and inserted as fields on the form. You can exclude fields that you do not want to appear on the form.

  • Method 2: Create a form without using an existing published board. When you create a form that is not based on a published board, you must create all the views and connections to a published board when you create the form.

Creating a form from a pre-existing published board involves the following steps:

  1. Add a form publish profile

  2. Create and publish the board that will be associated with the form

  3. Create the form

  4. Add components to the form

  5. Customize the submit message

  6. Add a WebEOC instance to the form

  7. Publish a form

  8. Share the form

Method 2: Create a Form (Starting with a Blank Canvas)

Creating a form from a blank canvas involves the following steps:

  1. Add a form publish profile

  2. Create the form

  3. Add components to the form

  4. Customize the submit message

  5. Add a WebEOC instance to the form
