Set Up the Requests/Tasks DS Board

You must import the DesignStudio (DS) version of this board as a new board instead of overwriting the non-DS version.

Modifying field names or making changes to the DS code views could have unintended effects.

The DS version of this board has some slight design differences, and does not include some of the advanced features available in the Standard board such as:

Deployments tab view is not available.

Finance tab view is not available.

Dashboard: Total Active Deployments data is not available.

Dashboard: Total Deployments data is not available.

Dashboard: Total Cost card data is not available.

Quick Edit functionality is not available.

Alert icon for overdue requests on List view is not available.

The option to add a NIMS typed resource is not available.

To ensure that the board customizations work as expected:
To set up the Requests/Tasks DS Board in WebEOC Nexus

Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access.

When adding or editing the board for a feature group, use the following table to guide your entries and selections.
Requests/Tasks DS configuration Field Description Valid Values Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters. Input The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.
Input views are mainly assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.
None. Display The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group. Select one of the following options:

List: Lists all request records.

Dashboard: Summarizes requests/tasks totals.
Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display. Select one of the following options:

Desktop

Mobile

Desktop and Mobile
View Filters Determines what data is visible on the board. Unlike the filter/search feature that can be added to a board, which helps you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of the data. No need to add or adjust these.
Board Permissions Tags Identifies what actions users are able to perform on the board. Select one or more of the following options.
Allow users to:

Create: Users can create resource requests and task assignment records.

Delete: Users can remove resource requests and task assignment records.
Records are not deleted. They are hidden from views using filters.

Update: Users can update existing resource requests and task assignment records.

Deployments - Create: Users can create deployment records.
-
Deployments - Update: Users can update existing deployment records.

Deployments - Delete: Users can remove deployment records.
Records are not deleted. They are hidden from views using filters.

Finance - Create: Users can create finance records.
-
Finance - Update: Users can update existing finance records.
-
Finance - Delete: Users can remove finance records.
Records are not deleted. They are hidden from views using filters.

Open Assignment: Allows the user to assign resource request and task assignment records directly to other WebEOC Nexus positions.

Click Save.
To set up the Requests/Tasks DS Board in DesignStudio

Name the board and select your Publish Profile.

To import the board, select Import From WebEOC Nexus.

Select your connection and WebEOC Nexus board name.

Customize the board as needed.
-
Add your publish profile to the board under Board Details.

Publish the board into your WebEOC Nexus instance.
