Three-Dimensional Maps

WebEOC Nexus supports three-dimensional (3D) maps and scenes. Three-dimensional maps provide you with more realistic visualizations.

Three-dimensional maps introduce the following maps and layers:

  • Three-dimensional basemaps: Display 3D visuals of natural and built environments.

  • Three-dimensional scene layers: Use 3D scenes to visualize geospatial data for more precise analysis (distance measurement and area calculation) using 3D geometry. You can import these scenes from external sources (for example, Esri 3D Content) and then add them to a map. The following map is an example of a 3D New York City scene.

  • Only buildings that are part of the scene for the map layer are rendered.

  • Three-dimensional scene layers are available with the Maps add-on.
