Delivery Methods

Your solution offers multiple notification delivery methods, including inbox, email, voice, text, fax, and pager. When creating a notification, you can select one or more of these methods to ensure messages reach recipients in the most effective way. Recipients receive notifications through the inbox by default, along with any other selected methods that match their valid contact information. If a recipient lacks valid contact details, the notification is not delivered through that channel. Regardless of the delivery method, response options are added to the notification separately.

Delivery Method Descriptions

  • Inbox: Constructed as the Long Message using the rich text editor, inbox notifications support standard formatting options, such as font and paragraph controls, and allow for links, attachments, and response placeholders. This method ensures internal notifications are accessible to all recipients through the solution.

  • Email: Emails are constructed as the Long Message using the rich text editor. They support standard formatting options, such as font and paragraph controls, and allows for links, attachments, and response placeholders, ensuring recipients with valid email addresses receive comprehensive messages.

The unsubscribe option on email notifications now identifies the solution or client instance from which recipients are unsubscribing. This feature ensures recipients can manage their email preferences without affecting the delivery of notifications through other channels or through other Juvare solutions.

Email notifications are limited to 10MB in total, including attachments.

  • Voice: Created using either a voice-to-text service or pre-recorded audio, voice notifications deliver key information audibly but do not support links or attachments.

  • Text: Text notifications are constructed as the Short Message using a plain text editor. They deliver concise, actionable information to recipients with valid mobile numbers. Links and attachments are not supported.

Based on your organization’s policy, recipients that are required to consent to text messages now need to reply to the first message with the word START. Recipients can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP and resubscribe by replying START.

    Text and voice notifications are limited to 1500 characters, including content text and all response option texts. If any special characters are included, the total message length will be reduced to 650 characters. Special characters include: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ ] { } ; : / ?

  • Fax: Constructed as the Long Message, fax notifications use the rich text editor to incorporate standard formatting, links, and attachments. This method is ideal for detailed or document-heavy communication to recipients with valid fax numbers.

  • Pager: Pager notifications are constructed as the Short Message using a plain text editor. These messages are designed for quick, straightforward communication and do not include links or attachments.
