Map Configuration Component Nexus Component Styling

This component is not available as a Classic Styling component and can only be used if you select the Use Nexus Component Styling checkbox when creating a view.

Map Configuration component

Use the Map Configuration component to configure the map settings for a List view.

The Map Configuration component is supported in the List view and is found in the Toolbox section of the Components tray.

To configure a map for a List view

  1. In the Components tray, in the Toolbox section, click Map Configuration.

  2. On the Map Configuration dialog, select Enable Map if you want to include a collapsible embedded map on the List view. If you select this checkbox, additional fields become active to determine the map's default state.

  3. Click the Show Map Toolbar checkbox to display the Tools panel that contains tools you can use to search geographic locations and points of interest (POI), insert and maintain annotations, select base maps, and measure distances and calculate areas.   4. Complete the following fields as needed and click Confirm.

Map Name

The name of a predefined WebEOC map. For more information see Mapping Manager in the WebEOC Nexus Admin Help Center.

Enter an existing map name.

Label

The label displayed on the slide-out panel and mobile view list

Enter the label name.

Location Field

The geography database field used to find the location on the map

Select the field from the drop-down.

Address Field

Autopopulate a text address field from the map.

Select a field from the drop-down.

Status Field

The feature tag status field for displaying status information

Select the field from the drop-down.

Status Field Label

The feature tag status field list name.

Enter the field name.

Enable Zoom

Displays the map in a zoomed in state around a location's data point. When you select this checkbox, additional fields appear.

  • Zoom Label: The label displayed on the Zoom menu option.

  • Zoom Label Field: The field that drives the label displayed on the map at the location.

Enter the information into the fields.
