Set Up the Distribution Sites DS Board Standard Icon

You can use the Distribution Sites DS Board as is, or customize it in DesignStudio.

  • You must import the DS (DesignStudio) version of this board as a new board instead of overwriting the non-DS version.

  • Modifying field names or making changes to the DS code views could have unintended effects.

  • The DS version of the Distribution Sites Board has subtle UI differences compared to the standard version and does not include certain advanced features, such as:

    • The Commodities History tab/table

    • Commodity Receiving and Distribution

    • Conditional display for time inputs on the Input view

    Also, in the DS version, the Details view Export to PDF uses the blink engine found in WebEOC Nexus 10.6 and later.

To ensure that the board customizations work as expected:

  1. Set up the board in WebEOC Nexus.

  2. Set up the board in DesignStudio.

To set up the Distribution Sites DS Board in WebEOC Nexus

  1. Import the board.

  2. Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access.

  3. When you add or edit the board for a feature group, enter this information.

    Field Description Valid Values

    Default Label

    The name for the board as you want it to appear on the Boards page.

    Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters.

    Input

    The view that allows you to add records to the board.

    Assign input views through board permissions; set this field to None.

    Select None.

    Display

    The view that displays when a board is opened.

    List - Sites: Shows all commodity distribution sites.

    Device Type

    The type of device the board is intended for display on.

    Select one of the following options:

    • Desktop

    • Mobile

    • Desktop and Mobile

    View Filters

    The filters that determine what data is visible on the board.

    Unlike the filter/search feature that you can add to a board to help you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of data.

    Do not modify the filters in this setting.

    Board Permissions Tags

    The actions that feature group members can perform on the board.

    Select one or more of the following permissions:

    • Create: Allows the user to create a commodity distribution site.

    • Delete: Allows the user to remove a commodity distribution site from the list view.

      Records are not deleted. They are hidden from views using filters.

    • Update: Allows the user to update a commodity distribution site.

  4. Click Save.

To set up the Distribution Sites DS Board in DesignStudio

  1. Create a new board in DesignStudio.

  2. Name the board and select your Publish Profile.

  3. To import the board, select Import From WebEOC Nexus.

  4. Select your connection and WebEOC Nexus board name.

  5. Customize the board as needed.

  6. Add your publish profile to the board under Board Details.

  7. Publish the board into your WebEOC Nexus instance.
