Specify a User's Interface Language
With WebEOC Nexus 10.12.1 and later, administrators no longer set the interface language. Users tailor their interface language and data formatting without affecting others or requiring admin-level configuration. See Update Your Profile Information for details. This topic has been retained for earlier versions of WebEOC Nexus.
The WebEOC Nexus user interface (UI) appears in English by default. However, most content in the interface, such as labels, links, and messages, as well as some board and menu options can be presented in other languages.
Since boards are created by the client, the board language cannot be translated in the same way. Instead, the language on boards should be managed through the board itself.
Translated script files are available for French, Lithuanian, and Spanish. To convert the WebEOC Nexus user interface into another language, you need to translate the ESI.WEBEOC.LibraryResources.Strings.[language code].resx file and store it on the server in the ...\resources\localization folder.
The ISO language code can be found on this page: https://www.andiamo.co.uk/resources/iso-language-codes/ and the actual code should be substituted for [language code].
From the User Account page, select from available languages to indicate which one appears in a user's interface.
The ESI.WEBEOC.LibraryResources.Strings.[language code].resx file only includes translations of default labels, messages, and such. To manage main menu labels, as an administrator, you can add custom labels for each language when assigning boards, subscription boards, plug-ins, links, dashboards, or maps to a group or menu. A default label is provided and will be used for all enabled languages in the instance, but administrators can select from supported languages to add a custom label.
