The Tropical map selection offers the following tropical storm map layers:
Tropical Cyclones
The Tropical Cyclones, which are also called typhoons or hurricanes depending on your region, layer shows the current location and current track of these storms.
Tropical Cyclone Names
The Tropical Cyclone Names layer toggles storm names on the map, which is helpful when multiple storm tracks are active in the region at the same time.
Tropical Cyclone Tracks
The Tropical Cyclone Tracks layer shows the predicted track of a storm over the next five days, and updates every 6 to 12 hours. The track in the example image below is highlighted in red to make it easier to see.
