View History and Restore Versions
DesignStudio creates a new version of each view each time you save. Versions are named with the save date and time and the name of the user who saved the change.
You can restore a view’s version to perform edits to it and then republish the board, which is especially helpful if you have already started making changes for the next version of the board but are not ready to release those changes.
The History panel in the Board Workspace displays the current version of the view, which may not have yet been published, so may differ from the published version of the board.
When you publish a board, DesignStudio also creates a new version. See View a Board’s Publish History for details.
To view a view’s history and restore it to a previous version
-
In the Boards Workspace, in the Explorer, select the view.
-
Select View > Show History. The History panel displays on the right, with the current and previous versions of the selected view.
-
Click a version to view its changes.
-
Click the three-dot menu for a version and select Restore.
The restored view opens. It is now the current version, named with the restored date and time.
-
To make the restored version live, publish the board.
