Site24x7

To set up and configure Site24x7, follow the instructions below.

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account and navigate to Admin then Third Party Integrations.

  2. Click Integrate Now on webhooks.

  3. Create the Site24x7 integration from Juvare ARC. Navigate to the IT CM page then follow the steps for creating an integration

  4. Click on Site24x7 integration to copy the integration URL.

  5. Enter the Site24x7 webhook form with the following information: 

    • Give any name for the integration name.

    • Paste the copied integration URL into Site24x7 Hook URL.

    • Set the HTTP method as POST.

    • Enable the Post as JSON checkbox.

    • Select Send custom Parameters and give {mode : “alert” }.

    • Set the accessibility to Global

    • Choose the basic authentication method.

    • At integration levels, you can choose already configured monitors or tags, or select all monitors. If you choose all monitors, the same integration URL will hit for all monitors.

    • Choose your priority for trigger alerts for monitor status change.

  6. Click Save and test the webhook form.

    1. To test whether integration has been successfully added, navigate to Juvare ARC's IT CM page then follow the steps in Manage IT Service Settings to create a rule set.

  1. Under the integration selection box, select Site24x7 and click Show recent Payload. You will see the JSON object on the right.

  1. Navigate to Admin then App Logs then Alerts to choose the third party integration to call. Whenever this alert is triggered, it sends the information to Juvare ARC also.

  1. Navigate to Admin then Inventory then Add Monitor to choose which third party integration should be associated with the monitor. 

  1. Add rule conditions based on the JSON object received from Site24x7. Once the rule conditions are matched, if any alerts are generated in Site24x7, you receive notifications by voice call, SMS, and email.
